Malibu Creek winds down the Santa Monica Mountains and meets the Pacific at Malibu Lagoon. Highway One crosses the Lagoon over the white bridge in the far right-hand corner. It has been rebuilt several 2024 times since its origin in the 1930s. I used Sennelier soft pastels on sanded archival paper for this artwork.
