Matador – OLE-1891-MC Replica of the cassette Pavement used to shop 'Slanted And Enchanted' to prospective record labels. This is an early version of the finished album with a different running order and a handful of alternate track titles. All songs © Pavement (Ess. Malk, S. Stairs, G. Young) Recorded Jan 13-18 1991 (at Louder Than You Think, Stockton CA.) Engineered by us. ...but "Pillowjack" recorded 12-23-90 at South Makepeace Studios Brooklyn, NY. This extremely limited edition cassette replicates Pavement's demo tape for Slanted & Enchanted that the band shopped around to various record labels. The cassette has alternate song titles, but is the original Slanted & Enchanted album. Thanks for 2024 taking a look!.
