Vintage Memento Mori Compass Assemblage 2024 Necklace

A vintage Waltham compass (works) has been turned into a memento mori assemblage. Mounted on the inside of the case is a Victorian photo of a woman with gold-filled Victorian elements surrounding. She is unusual to me because she has short hair. The 2024 photo has some scuffing and I've given it a layer of UV resin to protect it. Accompanying pendants are Victorian buttons mounted on filigree brass with Victorian French jet hand cut beads from an old 1900s necklace. Pendants are attached to gold plated vintage reproduction book chain. Finishes with a hook and brass large link chain, so can be worn at 20”, or adjusted shorter.
