Unique pair of antique framed plant specimens as labeled from The 2024 Herbarium of Grace Dexter - circa 1895. Each has the specimen detail label mounted with the actual plant cuttings from May and July 1895 - the handwritten label includes the Latin name, habitat and date. They are nearly 130 YEARS old and although the specimens color has faded they are still crisp, clean and clear behind the glass. Frames appear to be from the period however tended to at some point to preserve the backing. Nearly museum quality these are for sure conversation pieces.
