Antique Bennington Rockingham Trinket Box with 2024 a Lamb

This antique Rockingham or Bennington trinket box has a naive lamb resting on the lid. The lamb has its head turned around wondering what is going on behind her. The brown shiny glaze is usually referred to as 2024 Rockingham but sometimes referred to as Bennington. This little trinket box has the brown glaze on the inside and outside and the 2 parts are joined by a brass hinge and clasp. It measures 3.75 inches long and is just 2.75 inches tall. The clasp is good and the piece is quite functional. It is in perfect condition and has no apologies
