Hat pins have century years old history. Did you know men wore them too? Most hat pins from the early 1800's were hand made in France and were allowed to be exported only 2 days a year, in the month of January. The USA begin manufacturing them in the 1830's. Long Pins are called hat pins short are called stick pins.
