2024 Vintage GRUEN AUTOWIND Watch, Swiss Made 17 Jewel High Quality Movement, Unusual Dial, Circa Mid-Late 1950's-------Serviced-------

From the very popular SWISS brand GRUEN, a mid-late 1950's AUTOWIND (Automatic) Watch with an unusal dial.
The gold plated case is in good condition, measuring 32.5mm in width excluding the crown.
The original dial has some patina which gives it a great vintage color, however as can be seen in the photos, there has been some crazing and subsequent peeling on the right hand side, this I feel gives the watch a truly unique vintage look.
The crystal is new having been replaced during our service.
The two piece case back is stainless steel.
The SWISS made movement is a GRUEN Cal 629SS a Caliber that we do not often run into, it is a 17 Jewel AUTOMATIC with 3 Factory Adjustments, a sign of a high quality movement.
We have serviced the watch and it is in fine working order.
Presented on a new 18mm leather strap.
