I am offering the opportunity to get and original watercolour painting of your furry best friend, or perhaps you know of someone who would love nothing more than a custom pet portrait of their dog, cat or hamster! The main image for this listing shows a beautiful dachshund but you can obviously choose whichever breed you like!

All I need from you is 1-3 good quality photos of the pet in question, showing off any distinguishing features and in a pose that you are happy with, as this will be the pose that I base my painting on.

If you have any specific requirements for the portrait, whether it has just a landing shadow or a more detailed background, or any other quirky features. These illustrations make a really unique gift and I'm happy to get creative if you want some input on ideas.

If you would like to have the pets owner(s) included, this is also possible if I am supplied with relevant photos, for an additional small cost (drop down 'add character' option available when you make the order)

I can turn these around pretty quickly but ideally 2 weeks would be preferable - to ensure there is plenty of time. I can do rush orders though so if needed urgently please don't hesitate to ask. It is always best to contact me first with any questions.

All paintings are created with love and care from my studio in East Dulwich with the finest quality watercolour pigments on cold-pressed acid free 300gsm bockingford watercolour paper.

Size-wise, I offer sizes A5 (5 x 7 inches) , A4 (8.27 2024 x 11.69inches) and A3 (11.69 x 16.53 inches).

We can chose whether Portrait or landscape orientation, depending on what suits the composition best. Please contact me for my mount sizes and then you can select a frame that will fit. As the mounts are standard sizes you will be able to find ready made frames easily.

The painting will be signed and dated by the artist, and will be packaged with care in a clear sleeve and a protective stiff envelope. If you require it to be mounted and framed just ask and it can be done for a small additional cost.

My original paintings are always posted recorded delivery. I retain the copyright to the images but of course the original painting is yours to keep!
