2024 Pine Bowl

A pine bowl - rising arc to flat rim. Striking flow of colours though the annular rings and subtle and complex radial markings make this a highly decorative bowl.
A food safe oil employed to give a soft satin finish.
Sustainably sourced - when visiting a friends house for dinner, the tree felled had become conspicuous by its size and proximity to the house and I asked if I could have a couple of the sawn logs, to which they replied yes - I did give them one 2024 of the turned pieces resulting.
