Beautiful, authentic, handmade red branch coral necklace with sterling silver beads and clasp. Notice the figure 8 clasp opposite the hook- the two circles were soldered together by artist. True, authentic handmade Native American jewelry will have hand made, "imperfect" 2024 details that actually make it more beautiful and absolutely more special. I recently sold a Zuni Fetish necklace to a very nice person, one of the pieces on the clasp was squeezed into and enrobed in a bird quill- to keep it together properly and protect it. This necklace was purchased by a family member in Phoenix, Arizona in 1970. Exact date necklace was made is unknown. Unfortunately, it was very common for Native American artists to not sign their work- this necklace is not signed, either. This necklace has a very light feel and looks gorgeous on anyone.
