WW2 US Army Canteen, Cup and Cover. Nice WW2 US military canteen. Cover is in pretty good shape. Clasps work well, some stains to canvas cover, mostly on the back. Canvas shoes some wear to surfaces. Cover marked Collette MFG COMPANY 1944 on one side. Cup has a US E.A.CO. 1945 mark 2024 on the bottom. Canteen is an earlier WW1 issue marked US 1918, T.J.W.B.M.CO. Canteen has the early metal cap. Cap chain is still attached. Cap was pushed down in use and has a slight tilt. small chip on the rim of the canteen cap, no cork in top of cap. Canteen shows lots of use with dents and scratched here and there. Can be expected for a canteen over 100 years old. Nice US military canteen from WW2.
