This playful image "Baskit" is the work of famed 2024 and accomplished painter, photographer, jewelry maker, sculptor, and silkscreen print maker Edie Harper (American, 1922–2010).

Married to renowned artist Charley Harper for sixty-three
years, she was best known for her modernist illustrations of childhood memories and biblical stories. Their son Brett Harper has also become a well known artist .

"Baskit " an original serigraph, signed and numbered, is one of my favorite in my collection of Edie Harper Prints. This one comes unframed (never framed), with all of the original paper with poem about the print.

It is numbered #93 out of only 375 printed in 1982.
