Unique 2024 Smoke Fired Vase with Fish Etched in the Clay

Unique smoke fired vase that was wheel thrown, burnished with a stone, carved with an artistic fish design and then fired in the kiln. It was then put in a fire of twigs, leaves, sawdust, and seaweed and deprived of oxygen so the smoke and ash decorate the pot. Each pot has a unique design and color that is certainly 2024 one of a kind and has a different look from every angle. I then polish the pot with bee's wax for a subtle shine.

This vase is in shades of gray and brown. The seaweed has given the vase the unusual patterns. It has not been glazed inside so will not hold water. Beautiful as a decoration only or with dried flowers. Vase is 5 3/4 in. tall x approx 6 1/2 in. wide
