A lovely yellow polka dot wide mouth teacup made by Paragon circa 1950's to very early 60's and numbered 35703. There is a pretty spray of pink, deep fuchsia and 2024 mauve flowers along with a stem of lilac flowers in the bottom of the teacup and centre of the saucer. A turquoise hand enameled leaf pattern encircles the flowers. Both cup and saucer have a gold gilded scalloped edge and gilded handle. A wide wavy gold line runs around the pedestal base of the teacup. The backstamp I think is from 1953 when Queen Elizabeth II grants a Royal Warrant of Appointment.
There is one minor scratch in the saucer, otherwise this beautiful teacup is in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
