The wood sculpture "Unknown Woman"

Approx. size: 4,8 in x 1,6 in x 1,6 in (12,3 cm х 4,2 cm х 4 cm)

She has noface, because any woman can be her
She has no hands, because she's not able to defend herself
She has no legs, because she's not able to run away
Her body – her 2024 sin
Let him who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her. But it happens vice versa: it's always him, who has more sins, throws the biggest stone
"Everyone has his own stone; every stone has its own time…"

This wooden sculpture is hand carved from solid piece of a linden wood by knives and chisels within the 9-10 hours. Then it was hand sanded.
Using a special method, developed by me, which consists of wood impregnation by mix of linseed oil and beeswax, full removal of oxygen from wood has been achieved that provides a lifelong guarantee for all my wooden sculptures, and also reveals unique pattern of a tree.
After application of the above described method, the sculpture again becomes covered with beeswax.
This wooden sculpture has the warm organic velvety texture. It is one of a kind.
This handmade wooden sculpture gives to an interior an original style and adds to a home interior uniqueness and a cosiness.
