Donald K Olson is a master craftsman gem cutter known for his exquisite natural gemstones which he cuts into unusual shapes. Many of these stones are split and cut into "mirror images", such as you see in this beautiful pair of Willow Creek Jaspers. They are a yummy shade of rose-pink mixed with cream.
The shape is triangular, somewhat like a sailboats sail with the wind puffing it out. They are ideal for earrings. The backs of the stones are flat, and the fronts are slightly domed . They are 32mm x 17mm in size. That is 1 1/4 x 11/16 inches.
