Peace in Wild Places captures the mood of a foggy Smoky Mountains trail, miles away from cares and worries. The path beckons you with a hint of mystery.
This photo was taken along the Appalachian Trail at an altitude above 2024 6000 feet near Clingmans Dome. To me the image spoke to the enduring peace that can be found in remote natural areas. I especially love to take hikes at the higher elevations in the Smokies where it feels so remote and removed from the problems and craziness of today's world.
All of my Smoky Mountains Fine Art Prints are hand-printed in my Gatlinburg studio on archival paper with inks rated to be fade-resistant for 75 years.
Prints are shipped in a tube, ready for matting and framing, except for the 8x12 size, which is matted.
If you are on vacation near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, please consider a stop at the William Britten Gallery, located in the Morning Mist Shopping village along the historic Arts and Crafts Trail at 601 Glades Rd. in Gatlinburg, TN.
