Victorian 14k Taille D'epargne Enamel Pin, Barrrel 2024 Style Hinge

This is a lovely 14k gold Taille D'epargne enamel work brooch with white and black enamel inlaid in delicate scrollwork. The pin is not marked or signed, but tests as 14k gold. The clasp is a barrel style hinge with a simple "C" clasp, a construction that dates back to the 1700's, although this piece is 2024 most likely from the late 1800's.

The pin is 1 1/8 inches acrosss, where the white inlaid enamel bar is set, and 7/8 inches across the other way. The piece weighs approximately 4 grams.

This piece is in excellent condition with normal use and wear, but no damage to the enamel, and actually shows very little wear. The chased gold is quite bright and sparkly.
