Vintage 2024 M55 Swedish army shirt 1950s 50s cotton olive green M-55 asymmetric grandad collar work popover chore workwear smock

Vintage circa 1950s Swedish army M-55 cotton smock shirt with asymmetric fastening at the placket.

Grandad collar, asymmetric flapped placket, buttoned cuffs, overhead/ popover style.

All cotton, olive green with a regular topside and soft brushed underside making it nice and soft to wear. Its still good vintage order. This looked to be unworn we I found it but it has been laundered and ironed to freshen it up. Very little wear, if any.

No issue label or size label. Its stamped "II, three crowns and Kit" inside the collar. Please check the below measurements to establish if this is right for you.

Seam to seam across the shoulders at the back is 19 1/12
Sleeves are 24"  from shoulder seam to  sleeve end
From nape to hem is 33" 
Across the chest under the arms is 23 3/4" -  pit to pit, flat, across the front
The collar is 18"

No significant wear to mention. Small tuft of untucked seam by the armhole 2024 seam- just the edge, the seam is intact. Minor marks, minor signs of wear. This is in very good vintage order for the age of it...
