Little Red measures 4" by 4" and is only 1 1/2" deep. That makes her a square prism, for those of our customers who appreciate a little solid geometry. There is a soft green felt lining "carpeting" the floor of this solidly built little bin: the lid and the sides, which are perfectly mitered, are 5/8" thick.
That is secure enough to ward off at least one sibling incursion!

Best of all, this box is made from "repurposed" dresser wood. Rather than putting the old dresser in the trash, the Botter reclaimed 2024 and reused (i.e., recycled) the thick dresser wood to build something new that aligns with the planetary reality that we cannot just use something once and then throw it away. Our landfills are full and are oceans are brimming with plastic trash and used medical supplies.
Yuck! Thankfully those days are gone.
