Random Damascus Pattern

Forged from thousands of degrees to the perfection of what you are seeing now. This stunning double bit Damascus steel axe is hand forged with a double edge grinded down to perfection making this axe fully functional. The combined 1095 and 15N20 steel is heated to high temperatures, beaten and folded approximately 350-358 times in a random patterned fashion to create a sturdy axe head that is completely unique to each and every piece. The double head Damascus steel axe tempered is around 58 to 60 HRC making it perfect for outdoor activities. What you are looking at is approximately 520 layers. The head is held in place by the traditional wedged process and a secondary mosaic brass pin which goes through the thickness of the handle offering a sturdier feel. The handle is made from 100% sheesham wood, carved with a beautiful floral design and sealed to prevent splintering and provide an excellent grip. A genuine brown leather sheath is included and has a beautiful diamond scale pattern and decorated brass rivets. Sheath comes with a built in 1 1/4" belt loop.
