Vintage Star Six Cord black sewing thread in original box. This was made in New York, NY by American Thread Co. The thread is hand and machine cotton sewing thread with a soft finish. This box contains 11 spools of thread each on a wooden spool. In the early 1970's thread spool manufacturers stopped making wooden spools and switched to plastic. Good vintage condition. Ten spools are new and unused. One spool is partially used as shown 2024 in the last picture. The cardboard box does show signs of wear as seen in the pictures.
