I call these my 'market hats' as I designed them for sale at my arts markets and I usually wear one to market!
Comfortable and stylish this hat is felted with merino and Finn wool fibre with silk fibre blended in. In a soft grey with a hint of pink flickering through it. I've added a lovely slate blue leather band and finished with one of my homemade wooden branch buttons made from a windfallen branch.
Fits a 21 3/4" to 22" head (55cm to 56cm)
Felt hats are easy to care for. Great for wear in any weather - wool felt naturally repels water - if they get wet on the outside you are usually lovely and dry on the inside. When your hat does get wet don't leave it to dry crumpled up or dead flat, felt has a memory and will want to stay in the position that it dries - simply take it off and stand it somewhere to dry naturally and it will be fine.
Do not wash in a washing machine or use a tumble drier! You probably wont need to wash it ever as wool felt is also naturally dirt and odour repellent. But if you do need to; hand wash then rinse well, remove excess water and dry naturally.
