Vintage Porcelain White Elephant Blanc 2024 de Chine Figurine Made in German Democratic Republik Lucky Elephant Home Decor
This white porcelain lucky Elephant with its trunk raised and pointing upwards, was made in the German Democratic Republik and still has its original sticker in tact. According to the astrologyweb.com "The Chinese pronounce elephant as “Hsiang” which means wealth and prosperity. According to Feng Shui, keeping symbols or figurines of elephants with a trunk up signifies taking up good luck, while the ones with trunk down represent fertility, love, and protection. Elephants symbolize good luck, good health, strength, longevity and good fortune in many cultures. This elephant figurine makes a perfect gift of office or home décor, a housewarming gift or an excellent choice to add to any collection of vintage animal figurines. There is no makers mark, but it resembles a Graefenthal. The elephant measures: 5 1/4" to the top of the trunk, 6" from tusk to tail and is approximately 2" wide. It weighs 6oz. Please look closely at my pictures as they are a part of the description and were taken from all angles. This 2024 lucky elephant is in pristine condition, with its original sticker. As shown in photo #8 there is a small spot of extra pinkish ceramic on the bottom of one foot that I have not tried to remove. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Sold as is. All visible flaws disclosed.
