To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. 1960 BCE w desired dust 2024 jacket facsimile to First Edition showing Capote's photo of Harper Lee on back

This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1960 Book Club Edition, Lippincott. This edition does have the desired accompanying dust jacket with the photo Truman Capote took of Harper Lee printed on the back of the jacket. Inside this copy is previous owners name neatly written top corner with date of August 1960 (see photo). No other marks or writing seen. The pages are very clean with no foxing etc 2024 seen inside. Rough cut page edges imitating the First Edition copies. The hardcover boards under jacket are very good. The binding is tight and straight. The dust jacket is good, there is light wear including small tear bottom front left corner and rubbing at edges. Light smudges to back of jacket, but overall clean and good. A solid collectible 1960 copy.

No intro is need for this literary gem. Harper Lee's acclaimed and beloved story of Atticus and Scout Finch and the conflicts that ensue. There were many book club editions, at least four, printed after the First Edition release of the novel. Many do not have the dust jackets that boast the Capote photo of Harper Lee on the back. This edition from Lippincott Publishing does have the desired jacket making it a collectible book club edition from 1960.
