Spiritual Meaning:
Guanyin is Buddhist goddess of mercy, love, kind, and compassion. "The Chinese name Guanyin is short for Guanshiyin, which means "[The One Who] Perceives the Sounds of the World." Guanyin is also associated with luck and health. Wearing Guanyin pendant is believed to help the wearer overcomes obstacles and have great mental and physical health. She is usually shown in a white flowing robe, which symbolizes purity. She is also often shown holding a water jar (the Sacred Vase the water jar also one of the Eight Buddhist Symbols of good Fortune) containing pure water, the divine nectar of life, compassion and wisdom. This pendant is Guan Yin standing on Lotus. In Sanskrit, Guan Yin is known as Padma Pani - "Born of the Lotus", the lotus 2024 symbolizing purity, peace and harmony.
