A banjara boho tote bag, made with a sturdy oatmeal vintage grainsack and combined with a kutchi belt embellishment in matching burgundy colours. The feedsack has a great wear to it and it has been carefully laundered, but some old stains are still visible, which adds to the character of the bag. I left the old hand stitched details to give the bag even more character to it.
The kuchi belt I used to adorne the bag is vintage, has a burgundy base, and it matches the line colours of the grainsack. The coins and embelishements give the bag its boho look.
The shoulder straps are made with robust genuine leather, brown on one side and white craqueléd on the other. The straps 2024 are 1.5 cm [0.5"] wide. They are attatched to the bag with silver coloured rivets.
The inside of the bag is fully lined with a hand dyed burgundy cotton and has one big inner pocket.
This bag is is unique, very sturdy and durable and I added an extra firm insert to keep the bottom flat. The fabric is very thick but soft to the touch and has a lot of time worn markings.
