Micarta will stain and absorb oils, water and other liquids. Most micarta will change color when the oils from your skin contact it. You can research ways to seal it you like. We recommend letting it age 2024 naturally! It's completely up to you.

Note we will not add an treatments to the micarta scale as it the responsibility of the user to understand the materials they are using! We will not accept exchanges (30 days from date shipped) of knives once a treatment has been applied. Returns will not be accepted.

G10 May stain, however like micarta it can pick up oils and water and other liquids. Solid color G10 will become richer in color and most liquid will not harm G10.

Micarta can be Canvas, Linen, paper and other materials with a resin base. Most are non-conductive and fire resistant.
