Sold as-is/working; Overall in excellent, working condition, but works with the included Matsushita AC Adaptor and partially works w/AA batteries. -Included is a late-80s Matsushita AC Adaptor. Believe this was the power cord which shipped with several other, high-end SL-XP models. Also included is the original gold plated RCA/quarter-inch jack "Line-In" cord This exceptionally scarce little Matsushita-built (Panasonic) tank was the king of the mountain in its day, the "Walkman" to the Gods, as it were, and it could have been had for a staggering $380.00 2024 (about $1,000 today) back in 1988. It sounds awesome, gets louder and clearer than hell thanks to it's sampling capabilities, and quite honestly stands alongside few others as one of the best portable CD players ever manufactured.
