19th Century (1885) Copper repousse picture of 15th Century man and woman.A very unique piece! It is dated on the bottom: Pat. Feb'Y 10 1885.Repousse is 2024 when an artist forms a 2d,3d picture out of metal.In this case copper.The detail is incredible! It has the artist initials in the bottom left next to the planter.?K.The frame is material over wood with copper over that.Material is red velvet.On the bottom back you can still see some velvet fuzz!.Needs a cleaning.I will not touch though! LOL! Its in descent shape for its age! 9"×12".If truly interested I will work with you on a price.
