The goat vertebra is made using CT scans that are 2024 brought to life with a 3D printer. The two dimensional layers of the CT Scan are stacked into a three dimensional digital image using professional software. From this digital image the doctor then meticulously thickens the bone walls as needed to facilitate a thickness acceptable for fabrication and a durable product. Once the CT scans are modified the three dimensional models can be printed in a variety of materials and sizes. They can be made from resin, plain steel, bronzed stainless steel, polished gray steel, raw brass or silver.
