Sterling Norwegian Solje Brooch, 2024 Traditional folk design, wedding jewelry.

It is a lovely, relatively compact Solje wedding brooch, a piece that would have been part of a traditional Norwegian folk costume. Dangling filigree ornaments fall from 2024 a cast pin in the shape of a crowned heart. The pin is in excellent shape, simple pin back is secure.

The brooch weighs 8g, it is 5.7cm (2 1/4”) long X about 3.8cm (1 1/2”) wide.

It is stamped 925 and tests for sterling. There is an S and another letter or number - perhaps a V.
