Alpaca and merino wool 2024 yoke collar baby sweater. Hand knit woolycricket

I call this one Blue Jean Baby sweater. The colors are blue jean merino wool also black jean in merino wool and silver is alpaca.
The colors were chosen to be worn with almost any color in the rainbow.
Hand knitting such sweet sweaters makes me feel a little like Mrs. Clause. I always love getting the pictures after the parents get their package in the mail.

The wool is between a rustic and soft wool. It will soften some after the first hand washing. If you are concerned a little onsie or t shirt might just do the trick. The warmth is what we were after with this sweater as well as being stylish.

The sizing is a 3-6 months but I always recommend getting a measurement from your child and getting it a little bigger. This will allow longer wearing time. I so do adore those pictures with the little ones and the cuff is rolled up with a cute pair of jeans. I am sure you little person will be ready for the front page of Baby Vogue.

Care instructions; Hand wash warm to cool water with mild detergent. No scrubbing or wringing, this will cause felting. Roll in towel to 2024 get out excess water. Lay flat on a dry towel and gently pull into shape. I researched a article from leading experts in the knitting fashion industry and they suggest hanging your hand knit garments outside no matter the weather for a few hours to a day. Wool has the ability to wick away moisture and some bad smells. The two men have been designers for many years ans only wash their swearers once a year when the put then up the the new season. It's worth a try.


Lastly I do have a dog, while he is a little to young to teach to knit, his hairs do stray from time to time. I do everything to ensure this is no a problem and when you precious garment is finished it goes into a plastic bag for safe keeping.
