This beautiful Monstera Deliciosa also known as the Swiss Cheese Plant is painted 2024 on high quality professional watercolor paper using professional watercolors. This piece reflects my truest style of painting watercolor botanicals and it is one of my favorite creations in terms of color, brush strokes, and composition.
The Story Behind This Collection:

This spring I started spending time at a local nursery collecting leafy plants and one of the most special ones I got was the Monstera Deliciosa. While taking care of my baby plant, I envisioned how it would grow one day to have lush, big leaves with attractive splits!
That motivated me to paint these three illustrations - how I visualize my monsteras to flourish and prosper in my space!
I chose to paint these Monstera illustrations in 3 different styles to make it a perfect fit for the modern yet minimalistic and contemporary home decor style. I visualize this original watercolor painting in living room, entryways, and bedrooms.

Sizing and Framing suggestions:

The painting is signed and titled at the back, with initials on the front side. This piece measures 10x14 inches (paper size), and comes UNFRAMED. I feel the painting would look wonderful with a slightly wider white mat, placed in a classic white frame. Or if you like things rustic, boho or even farmhouse style, a light colored wood frame with dramatically big mat would also suit the mood of the painting!
