This is a very gently used (if at all) train set. The engine had a noise in it and not much power. Probably why the previous owner did not run it much. I solved issue by installing a brand new motor and now it's perfect. Just a tiny bit of red rubbed off the top of the left number board. I modified the caboose slightly by putting black ladders on it and installed a new smoke stack. All cars are Athearn with blacken steel wheels. I'm including an oval of EZ-Track and a tested Athearn controller. Athearn offers a high quality train and there are lots of parts available on line if the need 2024 does arise. Athearn engines run very smooth due to good motors, gearing and twin brass fly wheels.
