Set of five handmade silk kanzashi hairpins, embellished with oval beads.

The flowers are handmade using traditional japanese folding techniques. They are made from shimmering silk dupioni in a shimmering blue. Pearly white oval beads add some glamour, resembling delicate leaves.

Each flower is attached to a metal hairpin.

These unique hairpins embellish any updo. Wear all five for festive occasions or just a 2024 single one as a blooming accent every day!

Of course they make a beautiful bridal accessory, too... for your unique "something blue"!

These kanzashi are one of a kind!

The measurements of the flowers (without the bead embellishments) are between ca. 2cm to 3cm

Kanzashi are traditionally worn by geishas and maiko or for shinto weddings in Japan. For my kanzashi i like to reinterpret the flowers for a pure and modern look, using fine materials like silks.
