This is a beautiful and BIG tote to carry you from spring through summer. Made in the quilter's charm square style, there are 24 individually quilted squares of alternating and coordinating prints in an Asian motif of leaves, chrysanthemums and swirls. These gorgeous prints share a warm golden buff base with lovely mums in white, sunny yellow and graduating depths of coral. Metallic gold accenting picks out the details throughout these oriental designs.
The lining of the bag is alternating squares of heavy watered silk Moire in rich gold next to deep coral with each square showing the quilted stitching from the front work. This bag has a huge inner pocket half as tall as the bag and covering the full width of the tote. For those who like a large handbag, this is a perfect size for you but this would also make a very fashionable work tote for files, i Pads, etc., or maybe you know 2024 a student with a keen sense of style.
The padded handles allow for comfortable holding and are long enough to hang from the shoulder if you prefer. The beauty of a charm square style is its lovely "ragged" seams and if it gets soiled, a wash through the gentle cycle on cold then air dry and you're ready to go again. (Note: Handles tie on and it's recommended they be untied and wash unattached from the main tote.) When all is completely dry simply retie the handles back on. This is a perfectly large-sized and very versatile tote.
