Own a piece of history! I have made the barrel of this pen from reclaimed Teak from the decking of the USS Des Moines (CA-134). Included with the pen is a Certificate of Authenticity with a brief history of the ship. I have also laser engraved the name of the ship on the pen barrel.
The bolt-action mechanism simulates the bolt-action on a rifle. It pushes the tip of the pen out and locks into place. The pocket clip is in the shape of a rifle and scope. The rest of the pen is made to look like a 30 caliber bullet with the copper on top and on the tip.
The hardware on this one has a Chrome plated finish with copper accents on the tip and cap.
This pen uses a Parker style 2024 refill which is easily replaced by unscrewing the tip. I'll even throw in a spare cartridge.
