This well-loved Edwardian miniature hand mirror is an amazing little piece of history. It originally hung from a chatelaine - a decorative belt hook or clasp worn at the waist with a series of chains suspended from it. Each chain held useful household items like scissors, thimbles, watches, keys, mirrors, and household seals. This one hallmarked by the Webster Co and marked sterling.

Condition: This piece has been well-loved. The back of the mirror 2024 portion has dents and dings. The handle is straight and intact though. The mirror is intact with no cracks or darkening. It has been engraved with the word "Centaur" on the back. It has a ring at the end of the handle for attaching it to a chain.

Measurements: approx 2.5" long (not incl the ring) x 1.5" wide
