This is a stunning vintage black Lacquer with Abalone shell inlay box. The shape is stunning, the pattern is stunning. This is really a special piece. It would make a beautiful gift, would look great on your desk, bedside table, or as part of your bookshelf styling. On the lid are two deer, or maybe gazelles and there are diamond patterns on the bottom of the box. There are several small chips and scratches, as would be expected with the age of this piece.
