A Lovely Plate Wind Brass and Ebonite 2024 Fly-fishing Reel

A beautiful early fly fishing reel made from brass, silver nickel and ebonite. This reel would make a lovely display piece but could also be used as it is fully functional. The front plate is brass with a nickel -silver rim. The ebonite on the back of the reel is in excellent condition with no marks or cracks. The reel has a strong constant check. A 2024 beautiful collector's item or a vintage / antique reel to use. The are no makers marks on the reel, but it is of high quality. The diameter of the reel is 3 inches (7 1/2 cm).
