Fabbrica Majoliche Artistiche Torretti 2024 In the city famous for ceramics, the artisan workshop of the Torretti family has been creating the decorative handcraft since 1950. Combining the important elements of earth, water, and fire, they turn out high-quality hand-painted ceramics in traditional Umbrian patterns as well as contemporary design. We have a hand painted plate 8x8x1" with Raffaellesco decoration. The dragon of Raffaellesco was taken up by the master craftsmen Torretti Deruta who reinterpreted frescoes of Raffaello. The famous painter of Renaissance was in turn inspired by the anthropomorphic figures discovered ate the end of the 1400s in Domus Aurea of Nerone. This single plate is hand painted and signed by Torreti Deruto exclusively in Deruta Italy. All the products and colors used are lead free and also meet California regulations (PROP65).
