Beautiful Kitamura Pearls set in Sterling Silver Pin Brooch, Original Box from the 1960's. An Amazing pearl pin in it's rare original velvet box. Not often you find original vintage jewelry in its retail box. But 2024 when you do it is such a sweet surprise. This wonderful large pin brooch by "Kitamura" Japan, Circa 1960's. The brooch features 14 AAA Akoya peals on a ribbon tied bow and leaf design with bright cut accents to add sparkle and shine. And pearls are all the rage right now. This would be fabulous worn on a shawl or lapel of a jacket, blouse, or dress. The brooch is signed Silver for Sterling Content along with the K in clamshell makers mark. The pin measures2 1/2" long by 2" wide. The pin weighs 15. 3 grams. The pin is in excellent condition. Has some mild patina. Pearls are excellent with no nacre loss or damage. The largest pearl measures about 6.5 mm and the smallest measures about 4mm. Perfect to present as a gift.
