Antique mosaic necklace-$110 Vintage Clown Brooch & Earrings Lot-$5 Vintage murano ring-$5 Total-$125 2024 A sweet older Italian lady told me that her grandmother was given this beautiful necklace as a gift by her husband on their first wedding Anniversary while still living in Italy in the late 1800's. She said they immigrated here and came by boat. She said her grandmother had wrapped the necklace in her handkerchief and put it in her steam trunk. She said it was loveliest thing she had ever owned when her husband had given it to her and she was so worried that the salty sea air would do something to the metal and unwrapped it several times during the trip to make sure it was ok. The trunk was beautiful as well.
