5" Scale Three Kings on Camels

The Fontanini tradition of figurine making is prized for its lifelike sculpting, meticulous hand painting and attention to detail. The listing includes the Three Magi of Bethlehem also known as the Three Wise Men or Three Kings—Balthasar of Arabia, Melchior of Persia, and Gaspar of India. They were the distinguished foreigners who visited Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

The Three Kings were told by King Herod to find exactly where in Bethlehem 2024 the new born King, Jesus, was so he could worship Him. By the command, the Magi traveled following a very strange star up in the sky and found the infant Jesus in the manger. These figurines are handsomely crafted in specially formulated high density nearly indestructible and child-friendly polymer resin that captures the original sculpture's fine details and resists chipping and breaking. They are hand painted in the rich colors of Tuscany and antiqued for a distinctive carved wood appearance. All are marked "Italy." The set is in Good condition.

What a 5" Scale means:
Sizes in the 5" scale are equivalent to the tallest standing figure. If a standing king is about 5" tall, that means you have a 5" set. All the figures are based upon a scale size. A 5" scale infant Jesus won't be 5 inches, the baby is about 2" long. A kneeling 5" scale figure will not be 5" tall either. That figure will be proportional to the 5" standing figure. If you have a 5" set, you want to stay with all 5" stables, buildings, accessories, etc...
