8" 2024 White Glass Ball Shade with Brass Heat Ring for Oil Lamp • Antique Handpainted Floral Carnations Pink Yellow Green • 4 1/8" Straight Neck

Antique glossy white glass ball shade with handpainted floral motif and brass heat ring. Semi-translucent small globe is made for kerosene oil banquet parlor hurricane or stick lighting, or piano type lamps, but serves well on electrified GWTW lamps, sconces, and other fixtures. Glass is decorated on both sides with a simple printed carnation flower stem pattern, with handpainted pink, yellow and green flowers, buds and leaves. Pink and yellow are reversed on each side - but the design is the same.

Bottom fitter is straight and rests in a ring style holder. The glass is between 1/16" to 1/8" thick, light weight and has a very Victorian appearance.
