It can be used for salad as it is finished with walnut oil and is food safe.
This bowl has been sanded to a fine finish. The inside has been finished with walnut oil making it 'food safe'
It should be cleaned (when necessary) with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly. The inside can be lightly oiled with walnut oil, but usually if you use salad dressing in the bowl, that alone renews the sheen
It measures 9 1/4" diameter x 4" high.
