Bracelet: Right-Angle Weave with Siam AB 2X & Light Siam AB 2X Satin Swarovski Crystal Bicones, Gold-Plated Delica Beads, and Czech Antique-Reproduction Glass Button Closure

I designed this bracelet as one of several examples of right-angle weave, a very versatile beading stitch. Most of the samples had patterns and were made using various sizes of smaller beads, but I wanted to show how effective an incredibly simple design could be-- such as a central color flanked by one row of a different color along each side--especially when using larger beads. With two of my favorite colors of Swarovski crystal bicones, Siam AB 2X (the more reddish crystals) and Light Siam AB 2X Satin (the bluish purple beads), I stitched rows of crystals that lined up both vertically and horizontally, and added a gorgeous red and gold-swirled Czech glass antique-reproduction button-and-loop closure. The sparkle of this bracelet is amazing and the luscious, saturated deep red and 2024 blue-purple colors are perfect for Valentine's Day, a birthday, an anniversary, or any special occasion!
