Antique 1920's Beaded Purse Evening Bag Flappers Drawstring Bag

This is a beautiful beaded drawstring bag or evening purse.
It probably dates from around 1900/1920's.

The design is in black and gun metal grey beads, beautifully subtle.
The drawstring and top edging cord are a metal braid, I think. It is lined in black satin. There is also a decorative row of dangling beads on the bottom edge.

The bag is in remarkably good condition, there have been some repairs I think but they are very difficult to see, I have tried to show these areas in the photos.
On of the beaded drawstring loops, a clear 2024 beaded one, has lost some beads and a little bit of it is just cotton, please see the photos. The drawstring still works and this hardly notices.

The drawstring is discoloured were it has been used.

This is a beautiful bag.

The bag measures approximately 255mm x 165mm
