Vintage silver and 2024 carved shell cameo brooch, pendant. Young woman, profile, peach, translucent, marked, 925, Mothers Day gift, sentimental

This listing is for a gorgeous hand carved shell and sterling cameo brooch/pendant. The profile of a young woman (especially the texture of 2024 her hair) is carved quite skillfully. The fact that the sterling bezel is curved, following the profile of the shell, indicates that this piece has some age. Also, the 925 marking is engraved rather than stamped.

The brooch measures roughly 1 1/4 x 1" and weighs 4.7 grams. The piece is in good vintage condition with no serious issues to report. There is some subtle surface wear and tarnishing present. As we all have our own preference in regards to the surface finish we like on our jewelry, I will not be doing any cleaning/polishing of this piece. I'll leave that decision to the buyer.
